Issue 3 theme: wild west!

Submissions open soon for circular issue 3: wild west! We are looking for eclectic and genre-bending short stories, poems and personal essays responding to or interpreting the theme wild west. Submissions will be open for 6 weeks before we begin our review period. We will keep you updated on our website, on our social platforms and via email (sign up to our mailing list at circularpublishing@gmail.com).

We envision this issue as transgressive, speculative and anti-colonialist. Think of the desert, the frontier, whether on earth, another planet, or in the depths of space. Think about what the wild symbolises. Think about what the west symbolises. Deconstruct the homosociality of cowboys. Think fantastical, the creatures that roam the desert. Think scorching sun, black magic, reptiles and coyote, scavengers of the desert. 

As always, we encourage first-time, emerging, or more established artists to submit, and we will review your work anonymously. We will be taking cover art submissions, so please send us your fantastical art, also.
